MV Banjo Bridge: My Training Ship

MV Banjo Bridge: My Training Ship

Almost four months (April to August 2011) of being on-board MV Banjo Bridge as a Trainee Electrician taught me priceless skills and showed me the real nature of being a seafarer. Thanks to my mentors (Elect. Lapiña and Elect. Melgar) for patiently and unselfishly guiding me through the duration of my training. If both of you were able to read this post, this is the least way I could show you my gratitude.

This post is a little late due to my busy schedule on-board another vessel the MV Seattle Bridge (my first command as an Electro-Technical Officer) and also due to unavailable internet connection while at sea (lucky are those who have free internet via satellite).

Good day!

Kahit magsimula ka as assistant electrician o trainee electrician. Minsan po kasi may mga agency na kahit may inter-island exp ka na as elect, papasakayin ka pa rin as assistant or trainee elect pag international vessel. So sayang ang oras, meron naman nagpapasakay directly international vessel basta kumpleto ka sa papeles at may land-based exp ka na.
