What Kind Of MLC (Management Level Course) Should You Take?

Are you confused on what kind of MLC (Management Level Course) should you take? You can read the full MARINA Circular No. 2014-01 for detailed explanation. Or you could read below for a simplified or summarized version.

If you are a management level officer certified under 1995 amendments, having a sea service of minimum 12 months in the past 5 years or 3 months in the last 6 months, you are only required to take or undergo MLC Updating Course.

For an operational level officer (OIC) who wants to undergo assessment that will lead towards Management Level, you are required to take the full course.

Good luck!
